Managed by the Nevada Arts Council Artist Services Program, the Legislative eXhibition Series (LXS) Gallery space is located on the first floor across from the Caucus Deli in the Legislative Building, 401 South Carson Street, Carson City. Since 1985, LXS has displayed artwork by 146 of Nevada’s visual artists during the biennial legislative session.

The seven artists displaying their work in LXS 2021 are part of the Nevada Arts Council Touring Initiative exhibit Transformers: Reshaping Form and Meaning, curated by JK Russ.
Also on display: a rotation of 24 lenticular photo panels from the Find Your Folklife exhibit that will begin touring the state as an NTI exhibition in the fall of 2021.
The exhibition was developed over the past three years as part of the Nevada Folklife Friends and Neighbors Initiative. It’s about you–your family, your neighbors, your friends, your community. It’s also about us–who we are as Nevadans, navigating the challenges and opportunities of the 21st Century. We are “the folk,” all of us.
